Manage Analog Devices security program to ensure the security and safety of our employees, assets, and work environment. The position is responsible for security and safety of employees, contractors, and visitors in San Jose, California. This entails all aspects of physical security and alignment with business objectives. This position will report directly to Sr. Director of Global Security.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and manage security operations at San Jose campus, with wider guard management responsibilities at other US locations.
Ownership and management of break-fix for physical security technology and applications.
Proactive maintenance on security equipment and applications.
Provide security systems support for all regions.
Work with the systems security team, focusing on the development and implementation of robust security solutions.
Drive the planning and execution of security projects working in collaboration with facilities and IT with minimal disruption to operations.
Implement operational excellence in security, optimizing security controls while minimizing downtime and business impact.
Act as a key advisor to the Senior Director Global Security on matters of security operations and engineering, bringing deep technical expertise to strategic discussions.
Champion security awareness and training initiatives to enhance the security-centric culture across the organization.
Oversee key outsourced security vendor relationships.
Coordinate security at campus for special events such as company meetings and Analyst Days.
Assist with emergency response program working in collaboration with EHS.
Develop, track and measure key performance metrics for Global Security Department.
Perform incident investigations locally developing root cause and correction actions.
Work collaboratively with other security managers ensuring security policies, standards and best practices are met.
Engage in proactive risk assessment, ensuring security solutions are aligned with the organization’s risk profile.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Associates degree or 3-5 years’ experience working in similar role. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience with CCure Access Control and IP based CCTV systems, including troubleshooting skills.
Leadership and sound judgment. Must be a leader in emergency situations.
Must have 100% credibility and objectivity across all parts of the business.
Ability to identify risk and define mitigation measures.
Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with staff and business leaders.
Previous experience managing vendor relationships.
Basic understanding of building and fire codes.

The wage range for a new hire into this position is $119,140 to $163,818.
Actual wage offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, training, external market data, internal equity, or other bona fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
