Prominent beauty brand is seeking a VP, Marketing to join their team. You will be expected to go onsite 3 days per week in east LA county.
Reporting directly into the SVP, Marketing you will be responsible for oversight of all areas of marketing including brand, retail, DTC, product, and creative to implement strategies to create and strengthen the brands go-to-market execution of the Brand.
MUST HAVES:
7+ years managing high-performing marketing teams
Beauty/CPG/fashion/lifestyle/retail experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, multi-tasking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Oversee the Brands marketing team in development and implementation of strategic marketing plans to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization for the brand in all channels of trade
Identify new opportunities for brand growth and how to market new products, promotions, line extensions, advertising, and promotional plans
Drive new projects for the team as needed to address issues/new business opportunities
Work with Finance to develop and manage brand P&L
Drive quarterly and annual plans; this includes sales, margins, products, promotional and advertising material, and communications
Oversee development of Retailer campaigns to optimize product flow and mix, price, and promotion by working with trade marketing
Manage and oversee discount/promotional calendar, set up of all promotions for the Brand, and review of details at the item level for profitability, inventory availability, and sell-through
Oversight of the creative vision and strategy of the Brand website with current DTC heads, proposing new strategy and creative to the SVP to showcase the truest Brand representation on digital, and prioritizing the growth, improvement, and fostering of relationships with DTC shoppers
Manage and monitor the creation, support, and maintenance of promotions for DTC websites
Develop and implement strategies for new media and digital marketing teams
Oversee website development and all customer-facing digital communication channels
Track growth and maintain reports
Supervise the development and implementation of business/brand strategies for product development, product introductions, promotions, communications, forecasting, and inventory management of brand portfolio to achieve sales and market share targets
Oversees Creative, ensuring consistent brand image, look-and-feel, and vision across all Marketing materials: product curation, customer experience, in-store experience, online experience, promotional/communications materials, presentations approaches, photography, advertising, event activities, and various Brand partnerships
