Account Executive

The Account Executive will provide support as an Engagement Specialist and/or in a client-facing role on their respective client service team. They will support the Client Service Team with the tools necessary to guide clients in making informed business decisions. They will do this by assisting in the setup and development of media proposals, interfacing with and utilizing other departments within the agency (Analytics, Media Buying, Accounting, Strategic Account Services), and generating accurate and timely performance reports. If in a client-facing role, they will guide clients in making informed business decisions by presenting and delivering top performing media strategies and campaigns.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Utilize understanding of market and media landscape (category, season, region, macro, etc.) when providing strategic recommendations for client’s campaigns/programs
Assist in the development of media proposals and test schedules for clients utilizing category history
Interface with analytics team to set up new clients for onboarding, troubleshooting data issues/questions with analytics team
Assist Client Strategy Team on assigned client’s deliverables, including media schedules, pre-logs, call forecasting and media performance reports
Communicate regularly and effectively with internal teams regarding status of campaigns and scheduling
Lead set up of new media campaigns through internal database; VantEdge Point
Oversee and manage all title/show changes for applicable clients
Track and confirm media schedules; ensure Buying teams and Account teams are aligned, and that all data is being loaded into VantEdge Point to provide visibility to KPI’s
Analyze media data and create reports to drive insights and understanding around campaign results
Create reports in Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI; provide daily/weekly reporting updates to clients as needed
Schedule and assist in leading client/internal team meetings
Train and onboard new Account Coordinators and participate in circuit training of Media Coordinators
Initial point of contact for client when in a client-facing role; leading client calls with results, updates, budgets, troubleshooting questions, etc.
Actively lead client kick-off meetings and communicate media strategy and development
Develop media proposals and build out test schedules for clients utilizing category history
Embraces audience-first thinking for growth opportunities
Is comfortable with and responsible for accurate forecasting on accounts where holding strategic lead role
WHO YOU ARE
Minimum Requirements:
You have a minimum 1-2 years’ experience in account management, preferably in a media, performance marketing or direct response capacity
You can manage multiple projects with short timelines in a fast-paced dynamic environment and experienced in managing projects from concept to completion
You work well under pressure, while maintaining accuracy, strict confidentiality, and a professional demeanor
You enjoy interacting with people at all levels of the organization and fostering strong cross-functional teamwork
You work well in a collaborative environment as well as individually
You have strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
You are detailed oriented, well organized, and able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
You have a desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
You are self-motivated; inquisitive, proactive & strong initiative (learns/ask questions, applies, grows)
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Media, Business, or related field of study preferred but not required
You have experience with media buying, traffic, data operations, invoicing, sourcing, and analytics a plus
You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
Knowledge with various reporting systems and software
