Description Contribute to generating significant revenue growth into LHW hotels worldwide from the Singapore office, by achieving and/or exceeding the revenue goals for the designated portfolio, via sound business planning and execution of relevant strategies and action plans.
Responsibilities
To manage and increase share of Travel Trade, Corporate and MICE business from existing key accounts; develop prospect accounts; and acquire new accounts.
To focus efforts on hotels in the Collaborative Business Planning program and execute the sales plans for each hotel to ensure that the revenue goals for each are met or exceeded.
To increase the awareness of LHW and its member hotels among the target clientele within the portfolio, which in turn generate quality leads.
To create long-term win-win outcomes between member hotels and clients.
To be well-versed and proficient in the product knowledge of LHW member hotels.
To ensure that all sales activities are recorded and managed via SalesForce
To be a champion in the utilization of Lanyon to manage Corporate RFPs.
To be well-informed of existing market intelligence and competitors’ information.
To organize familiarization trips to relevant LHW member hotels.
To attend Corporate-related events and tradeshows, if required.
To manage the sales portfolio of an additional outbound South East Asian market, if required.
Any other related duties which are assigned to by the Director, Travel Trade, APAC excluding China
Requirements and Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
At least 5 years of relevant experience within the luxury hospitality space
Strong background in events, groups and luxury travel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Skills & Abilities
Highly motivated and disciplined individual with sharp business acumen and well-polished negotiation skills.
A quick-starter who is open to adopting and conceiving new ideas that contribute to improving existing processes and who systematically follows through.
Proactive with initiative and a strong sense of urgency
Highly adaptable and able to embrace the LHW core values and selling concepts quickly.
